Application and Reflection Questions:How does leadership differ from management? What are the core responsibilities of each? Are they mutually exclusive roles or are they integrally connected? In other words is a leader always a manager and is a manager always a leader? Which single leadership development strategy can you implement today that will enhance your leadership skills in your clinical practice? How will you accomplish this?Reflect upon the Nursing Leadership Position Statement of the Canadian Nurses Association. What is the intended purpose of this document? How does nursing leadership impact client care and health outcomes?Please follow the guidelines below to answer the questions appropriately. Critical thinking must be evident in each discussion post:What is the meaning of the information and evidence and how can I use this for self or system improvement? What does this mean for the nursing profession? Honest self-reflection and evidence of continual self-improvement. What can I should I do I need to do better? In what circumstances might this knowledge or information be beneficial? In what circumstances might I be able to utilize these concepts and information?
